According to the New York Times, the "Walmart To Go" test allows customers to order grocery items online and have them delivered to their homes via temperature-controlled trucks. The company is currently shipping grocery items from a San Jose store. Delivery charges start at $5.
Product categories include produce, meat and seafood, frozen foods, bakery, baby, over-the-counter pharmacy, household supplies and health and beauty items. Most goods being tested are pre-packaged items.
