It’s a happy time in Bentonville, Arkansas as Walmart reported quarterly U.S. sales jumped the highest in nearly 10 years, which prompted shares to increase 11 percent.
Walmart beat projects on both quarterly sales and earnings thanks to big store foot traffic and an enhanced online strategy, according to the New York Post. E-commerce sales were up 40 percent and stores sales rose 4.5 percent.
