Wawa debuts self-checkout kiosks in 61 stores

Wawa has installed self-checkout kiosks in 61 of its convenience stores and is adding more, according to a report in The Philadelphia Inquirer. All new stores will have the kiosks.

Wawa piloted kiosks in a few dozen stores and found that customers completed purchases faster. The kiosks also provided a more socially distanced checkout option during the pandemic.
