W.S. Badcock taps veteran leader for retail VP role

Furniture retailer W.S. Badcock is promoting Mitchell P. Stiles Jr. to serve as VP of dealer retail operations.

"Mitchell has proven himself a valuable leader within our corporate operations team," said Rob Burnette, COO. "His experience and deep understanding of the day to day responsibilities and goals for dealers ensures his appointment will be met with strong support from our retail community."

Stiles first joined the retailer in 2000 while studying at Florida Southern College and his first fulltime role was in the corporate administration office. He is one of the first fifth-generation Badcock family members to pioneer the manager in training program. During his time with the company he has served as store manager, dealer advisor and corporate district manager before his most recent role as director of corporate retail operations, southern division.

In his new role Stiles will report directly to Bill Pou Jr., executive VP of retail operations, and will be responsible for coordinating the daily interaction between dealers and the corporation, and will advise and direct the efforts of the regional and district advisors.
