Coaching Remote Customer Service Teams

Although the COVID-19 pandemic appears to be on the wane, many of its effects will likely be with us for years, if not forever. Nowhere is that more evident than in the trend towards remote work. Although many companies went to remote work as part of an effort to improve the safety of their employees, the move has proved so popular some aspects of remote work will become permanent.

And one area of many companies that has proved ripe for a shift to having employees work from home is the customer service team.

One of the biggest challenges, though, is finding a way to keep a customer service team performing at the highest level possible. With remote work likely to be a fixture of customer service teams going forward, effective coaching is key to success.
