With almost anything these days, there is, as the slogan goes, "an app for that." Want to order food? There's an app for that. Want to buy a car? There's an app for that. Want to pay your utility bill? Increasingly, there's an app for that, too.
"Consumers have long gravitated to technology that is easy to use and meshes seamlessly with their daily lives," said Jim Bennett, CEO of Tulsa, Oklahoma-based U.S. Payments, a provider of bill pay kiosks, is developing an app to work in tandem with its machines. "That's what kiosks and apps have done. The strides that they have made in recent years – and will continue to make – will only further bolster their position in consumers' eyes."
