1-800-Flowers.com hiring 8K-plus seasonal workers

Gift and flower retailer 1-800-Flowers.com plans to hire on more than 8,000 associates, across its brand family, to meet holiday demand.

The jobs range from positions with The Popcorn Factory to the company's multi-brand distribution centers, according to a press release. The role include assembly, fulfillment and contact center jobs.

"As a company, we'll deliver millions of gifts for the holiday season and we can't do that without the support of our seasonal associates," Tom Hartnett, president, said in the release. "To ensure a seamless customer experience for both shoppers and gift recipients, we're expanding our workforce and offering competitive wages, flexible schedules, employee discounts and other incentive programs to help us attract enthusiastic and motivated team members. We have many positions available for hardworking and reliable individuals who can help us deliver smiles this holiday season."
