2nd Amazon Prime Day happening this fall

Amazon is reportedly hosting a second Prime Day sales event this fall.

The event comes at a time when consumers are dealing with high inflation, according to a Wall Street Journal report.

Two years ago, due to the pandemic, Amazon moved its Prime Day from its traditional summertime date to the fall.

The upcoming fall event would be the first time the omnichannel retailer has held two Prime Days in the same calendar year. The first one this year, held in July, saw more than 300 million items sold, according to Amazon.
