3D printing kiosks arrive at Best Buy

Now, select Best Buy customers will be able to see 3D printers in action with new 3D printing kiosks designed as a partnership between kiosk manufacturerFrank Mayer and Associates Incand ROBO 3D, according to a press release.

The kiosk is a display that showcases the 3D printer and several examples of 3D printed objects. The kiosk also plays an interactive video below the printer, which educates customers on the 3D printing process. The printer and the filament products were placed below the display for purchase.

"We had to pull together this endcap display and experience in a short period of time and Frank Mayer and Associates, Inc. was able to work with us extensively to make it happen" said Braydon Moreno, CEO of ROBO 3D, in the release. "The vision of the endcap came to life based on our ideas and working with their team was truly seamless."
