7-Eleven launches minibar delivery

7-Eleven and Minibar Delivery, an on-demand alcohol delivery service, are collaborating on a service to deliver beer and wine to homes in select markets.

The service will launch in 600 stores in Florida, Texas and Virginia in a pilot program before launching nationwide, according to a press release.

Customers log into the Minibar Delivery app, or online at its website, and select from a range of wine and beer that will be delivered within an hour. The convenience brand is offering a $7.11 coupon on the first order with the promo code 7Eleven at checkout.

"While delivery proved essential for many Americans staying at home, on-demand ordering and delivery has become an expectation — one that 7-Eleven intends to meet and exceed," 7-Eleven Digital Senior Vice President Raghu Mahadevan said in the release. "In one year, our delivery footprint has more than doubled, with more than 90% of participating 7-Eleven stores offering delivery via third-party providers or our proprietary 7-Eleven Delivery app. We are excited to collaborate with an established company like Minibar Delivery to bring our customers quick, convenient delivery of alcoholic beverages and mixers across the country."
