Active Ride Shop is using a cloud-based engagement technology for mobile point of sale, merchandising, customer relationship management and sale audit in a quest to enhance the customer experience.
With Aptos' technologies, Active Ride Shop now has a singular commerce and a more seamless experience, according to a press release. The retailer, founded in 1989 as a single skate shop, is now a full-fledged action sport business with 29 stores in southern California. The tools are ensuring customers a consistent experience no matter if they are shopping in-store or at pop-up stores and community events.

"We plan to expand Active's retail footprint into new states over the next several years, and our investment in Aptos is a key enabler to support execution of our multi-channel growth strategy."
