AiFi, Verizon, Atlanta Hawks team on cashierless checkout

The Atlanta Hawks' home, the State Farm Arena, now houses an express cashierless checkout experience.

The store is powered by AiFi's spatial intelligence and Verizon 5G Edge, according to a press release.

The Hawks Express Cashierless Checkout store uses AI-powered computer vision technology and is located on the 100 West main concourse.

Customers enter the store, select items, and exit — with purchases automatically processed through their mobile payment method.

"Our collaboration with Verizon and the Atlanta Hawks and State Farm Arena showcases how autonomous retail and seamless entry solutions can transform stadium environments. By leveraging cutting-edge technology with spatial intelligence, we are enabling faster, frictionless transactions that redefine convenience for fans while optimizing venue operations," Steve Carlin, CEO of AiFi, said in the release.

State Farm Arena has also installed Delta Fly-Through Lanes powered by Verizon at Gates 1, 2, 3, and 7 and deployed Verizon Sensor Insights in the arena's technical hub. Verizon Sensor insights provide near real-time data-driven intelligence to ensure all technical equipment is operating at peak efficiency.

AiFi operates in over 280 autonomous store locations worldwide, including over 20 sports stadiums globally. To date, the spatial intelligence company has reached more than 9 million customers and processed 7.1 million orders with more than 33 million products sold.
