Airline customer service reflects turbulent consumer experience

Not too many consumers are happy with the customer experience when it comes to airlines and travel with 76% expressing negativity regarding flight disruptions and 67% expressing dissatisfaction with customer service interactions.

The complaint list includes everything from unhelpful chat lines to a lack of communication, according to a Clootrack study regarding customer experience within the airline industry.

A hefty number, 84%, of economy class passengers reported a negative experience. The results show a need for airlines to analyze passenger data to improve customer morale, according to a press release on the findings.
