Retailers operating at nationwide airports will benefit from a healthy spike in travel traffic during the Thanksgiving season as a new report expects it will be the busiest in over seven years.

The airline industry, as well as all the thousands of retailers operating at airline terminals, will have much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving season.
A new report claims the holiday will be the busiests in seven years as 25.3 million consumers aim to fly somewhere during the 12-day Thanksgiving travel period.
The Airlines 4 America prediction, according to an ABC News report, expects 1.4 million to 2.7 million airplane travelers to hit nationwide airports between Nov. 20 and Dec. 1. That’s a spike of 800,000 over last year, and reflects an increase of 65,000 travelers boarding daily flights.
The least travelled day during the timeframe will be Nov. 26, Thanksgiving, and the busiest will likely be Nov. 29.
