Amazon celebrating 10 years of robotic innovation

Amazon has launched more than 520,000 robotic drive units in fulfillment and sort centers during its decade of robotic innovation.

The technology has spurred the omnichannel retailer's success in providing same day and next day delivery, according to a TechCrunch report.

The 10-year mark in robotics comes just a week after Amazon announced it is launching drone delivery in California, marking the retailer's first drone debut in the U.S.
