Amazon Digital Day promises big post-holiday deals

Amazon isn't done with holiday shoppers once Christmas arrives as it's gearing up for its third annual Digital Day event taking place Dec. 28.

The omnichannel powerhouse promises big markdowns on everything from best-selling books to games and videos, according to a press release.

"Amazon Digital Day continues to provide great deals on digital content," said Aaron Rubenson, vice president, Amazon digital, app, and game services, in the release. "We're excited to help customers add new apps, games, movies, eBooks, Audible books, and more to their current device or the latest Amazon Fire tablet, Fire TV, or Kindle they just received over the holidays."
