In an effort to make it easier than ever to retrieve that latest order, Amazon is launching more pick-up location sites for consumers.
The locker-style approach lets consumers avoid having packages sit on stoops and porches at an unattended delivery location. The online retailer has debuted more than 70 lockers at Plaid Pantry locations in Portland, Oregon, according to a report at Oregon Live.
Amazon locker locations are now available in several cities, including Boston, San Jose, Virginia and Seattle, to name just a few. Customers choose a locker location during the online transaction process and have three days to pick up the items ordered.
