Amazon is the fifth biggest retailer in the U.K., and enjoyed a 22.5 percent U.K. revenue jump in 2017, according to GlobalData.
That's pretty robust given that overall total online spend in the U.K. rose 8.4 percent.
"The company [Amazon] is not only stealing share from its U.K. competitors but is forecast to have accounted for 33.5 percent of all U.K. spend online in 2017 versus 29.6 percent in 2016," stated a GlobalData release.
