Amazon is reportedly planning to hire on 2,500 more workers in the U.K., which would represent a 10 percent workforce boost.
The strategy, according to a Bloomberg report, comes despite shaky economics related to Brexit. Amazon hired on 5,000 in the U.K. in 2017.
"We’re committed to the U.K.," Doug Gurr, Amazon's head for the country, said at a press briefing, according to Bloomberg. “It's a very important consumer market and a fantastic source of talent."
