Amazon's Manhattan hub will house 2,000 employees

Amazon's impending Manhattan office will be home to 2,000 employees over the next three years, according to an AM New York report.

The office, slated to open in 2018, is a 360,000,000-square foot spot at 5 Manhattan West, and Amazon has signed a 15-year lease, according to the report. It will be home for Amazon Advertising.The news comes on the heels of Amazon announcing it will hire 2,250 employees for a Staten Island fulfillment center.
