As consumers still grapple with a massive Equifax data breach, reports indicate Whole Foods' shoppers are likely facing a similar issue.

Amazon's Whole Foods Market reported last week that payment card data has been taken from venues within some stores, according to a New York Daily News report.

The breach is not tied to the grocery store chain's point of sale system or Amazon.com's systems, noted the report.
