Clothing and accessory maker American Apparel is notifying 500 workers slated for a layoff action.
The company, which employs 4,300, is restructuring after an re-organization prompted by a bankruptcy, according to a USA Today report.
The layoffs are taking place at several retail locations including Los Angeles.
