Apple launching retail store in India

Apple is opening its first-ever retail store in India.

The location is reportedly in Mumbai, according to a CNN report which noted the initial effort to open a location was stymied by the pandemic in 2021.

Apple released a short statement as well as a photo of the location at Jio World Drive Mall: "Hello Mumbai. We are getting ready to welcome you aboard our first store in India. And raring to see where your creativity takes you at Apple BKC."

There is no indication of when the store will open.
