Apple's new retail location in Indianapolis boasts a bigger footprint and reflects the retailer's revamped store design focused on being more customer friendly.
"This is one of the new store designs we're starting to roll out in America," Angela Ahrendts, SVP of retail and online stores told the IndyStar. "We have been intentionally reinvesting in the fleet in America because we had about half of the stores that were opened before the iPhone launched in ’07," said the Indiana native.
The new store design provides a 'town square' environment with specific areas designed for devices, support and product help.
