Apple's iPhone 6 to include NFC

This fall's Apple iPhone 6 will include near field communications to enable mobile payments, according to "a source close to the situation," reports VentureBeat.

VentureBeat said it was "unclear" if Apple will align itself with ISIS, the mobile commerce joint venture between AT&T Mobility, T-Mobile USA and Verizon Wireless, speculating that it would instead forge its own mobile payments standard to compete with ISIS and Google Wallet.
