Australia footwear chain offers same-day delivery

Accent Group, which operates 350 Australian-based footwear stores, is deploying same-day delivery.

The service is now available at 12 stores with the goal to have it at all stores within the next two months, according to a Sydney Morning Herald report.

The goal is two-pronged: the footwear retailer hopes to stave off competition from Amazon while also providing customers with instant gratification.
