Barnes & Noble, Google team to offer same-day delivery

Barnes & Noble now has Google employees in some of its stores, pulling customer orders and prepping them for same-day delivery. According to a report from CNN, stores in Manhattan, Los Angeles and San Francisco are now offering same-day delivery via Google's Shopping Express service.

The report says there will be three different shipping windows throughout the day. This is an expansion of Barnes & Noble's existing same-day shipping service in Manhattan, which uses its own drivers.

CNN noted that B&N's stock rose 4 percent on the announcement.
