Beall Stores taps great grandson as president

Matt Beall, the great grandson of Beall Stores founder Robert M. Beall, is now company president for the Florida-based retailer.

Beall began working for the family business 14 years ago in an entry-level buying position and has held numerous titles within Bealls Stores, Bealls Outlet Stores, and Bealls Inc. including buying, planning, logistics, finance and store operations, according to a press release.

He most recently held the position of senior vice president and chief merchandising officer.
