Bealls Florida goes to the cloud with HighJump

HighJump Software, a global provider of supply chain management software, announced today that the Florida-based apparel and home merchandise retailer Bealls Inc. has selected its cloud-based warehouse management solution.

With the system, Bealls Florida gains fast, accurate fulfillment through directed, optimized workflow, according to the news release. Bealls Florida will utilize the robust tool for its new central fulfillment operation, and will enjoy reduced cost and greater inventory visibility that will support stronger customer service standards, according to the release.

HighJump Software's cloud-based WMS is hosted in a secure data center rather than installed on-site. With this arrangement, Bealls Florida avoids the need for space, electricity, cooling, bandwidth, hardware and trained IT staff to install the system and perform maintenance and upgrades, the announcement said. Instead, the company can redirect resources to address needs that directly impact the business, as opposed to IT infrastructure and administration

"HighJump Software was one of the first WMS solutions providers to launch a cloud-based solution," said Russell Fleischer, HighJump Software CEO. "Our expertise will provide Bealls Florida with the same best-of-breed foundation as our on-premise system, as well as the adaptability tools we are known for."
