Big Lots taps Reflexis tech for workforce management, budgeting

Big Lots is using the Reflexis Workforce Schedule at its 1,400 retail stores for associate scheduling forecasting and budgeting.

The technology, according to a press release, will boost efficiency while ensuring resources necessary to support growth.

Big Lots, which operates retail stores in 47 states, chose the technology to boost scheduling accuracy and engagement for more than 35,000 store associates.

"We are excited to add Reflexis Workforce Scheduler, giving Big Lots the complete functionality of the Reflexis ONE suite," said Mike Schlonsky, executive vice president, human resources and store operations, Big Lots, in the release. "With the power of the full suite, we will increase visibility into store-level execution, reduce labor complexities and automate many time consuming manual tasks. Additionally, this solution will help us increase productivity and lower associate turnover and, in turn, improve the overall shopping experience across our fleet of stores."
