Blackhawk unveils open-network gift cards

Blackhawk Network, the largest third-party gift card provider, has announced the availability of its Rewards Visa Gift Card through its B2B program. Cards can be custom-branded, and issuing companies can set variable expiration dates and variable value loads.

Blackhawk's retail partners include Bass Pro Shops, Home Depot, iTunes and Regal Entertainment.

"By launching the Blackhawk Rewards Visa Gift Card, we're giving businesses greater choice and flexibility in the products they choose for their own incentive and motivation programs," said Talbott Roche, senior vice president at Blackhawk Network. "Consumers want variety and selection; therefore we listened and tailored our program accordingly. It's a great pleasure to announce that our Incentives and Rewards program offers all categories of cards, including open network cards that can be customized for individual needs."
