Blendid teams with Jamba on robotic smoothie maker in Walmart store

Blendid, an autonomous, contactless robotic kiosk that offers fresh smoothies, has teamed with Jamba to introduce a co-branded kiosk at a Walmart in Dixon, California.

Blendid's robot processes the order and payment, selecting and measuring the fresh fruit and vegetable ingredients, then blends, pours and serves each customized smoothie in about three minutes. Every smoothie is made to order.

The branded partnership also plans to open other locations in areas such as universities, hospitals and supermarkets.

The Jamba by Blendid Dixon kiosk offers plant-forward Blendid smoothies, custom-created Jamba and Blendid smoothies inspired by flavors found at Jamba, as well as proprietary Jamba Boosts.

The first Jamba by Blendid kiosk is located inside Walmart at 235 E. Dorset Drive in Dixon and will be open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Guests can place orders in person at the kiosk or they can order ahead with the Blendid app.
