Meal kit maker Blue Apron is looking to expand outside of the direct-to-consumer subscription strategy and make its meal kits available in stores sometime this year.
The multi-channel move, according to a New York Post report, is focused on making Blue Apron's meals more available to homes across the U.S. The news comes on the heels of Walmart announcing it was moving into the meal kit industry this year.
