Bluecore taps ex-Oracle data cloud guru as COO

Rob Holland, formerly Datalogix and Oracle general manager, is now the first chief operating officer for Bluecore, a real-time interaction management platform vendor.

The appointment and new role is being driven by the company's growth internally and in the industry, according to a press release. Bluecore more than doubled its employee base in 2016 and is now supporting more than 325 leading retail brands.

"We've blown past the early stage startup, product/market fit stage — with 2017's financial and organizational growth poised to continue growing generously. Rob's long tenure in the digital, retail and CPG industries will guide us as we evolve, and ensure that our real-time behavioral data solutions continue to address key industry pain points, while delivering new efficiencies and insights to the world's top retail organizations," Fayez Mohamood, CEO and co-founder of Bluecore, said in a release.
