Brooks Brothers today announced the opening of its newest retail location in San Francisco — a 26,000 square foot flagship store that will carry collections for men, women and children.
The interior takes inspiration from the nearly 100-year-old Brooks Brothers flagship store on Madison Avenue in New York City. The first floor is covered in pale cherry wood, the women's floor is adorned by clean white paneling and marble floors, and on the fourth floor gentlemen will discover a clubby atmosphere with dark mahogany paneling and antiques throughout, the announcement said.
There's even a cash desk that serves as a coffee bar and lounging area, and a pool table for some old fashioned entertainment. The company said in the announcement that the antique fixtures and decorations craft a truly unique shopping environment in keeping with Brooks Brothers' heritage.
