California cannabis dispensary debuts self-serve kiosks

Greenstop, a new California based cannabis dispensary, has installed self-serve kiosks that can serve four customers simultaneously, according to a TechCrunch report. The touchscreen kiosks have been installed in Marina Caregivers in Marina Del Rey and The Healing Touch in Encino.

A clerk checks customer IDs before granting access to the kiosk, in compliance with state regulations.

The company employs 10 people and is trying to raise $5 million to growth the business throughout California and nationwide.

Cannabis is considered an essential business in California during the coronavirus pandemic.
