Canadian shopping site SHOP.CA launches mobile app

SHOP.CA, a site offering daily sales events for Canadian shoppers, has announced its first mobile app for iPhone and Android devices. According to the company, the new app will feature the same exclusive daily sales on products from 27 categories including home, fashion and electronics offered on SHOP.CA's website.

"Millions of busy Canadians shop SHOP.CA's site regularly to discover the best brands and hottest styles for themselves and the family at the best prices, but they are typically on-the-go," said Drew Green, founder and CEO of SHOP.CA. "With the iPhone and Android app, Canadians can take a quick peek at the day's exclusive sales from anywhere, at any time and never miss out on a great deal from SHOP.CA or their favorite brand."

Every day, SHOP.CA features more than 12 new exclusive sales events that typically offer 50-90 percent off items ranging from name-brand fashion apparel to tech gear and home fashion goods. The limited-time-only sales are always exclusive and are promoted to SHOP.CA's members via an email every morning at 8:00 a.m. and are typically only available for one week, so members shop the website early and often to discover the best prices on the brands they want.

With the app, just like on the SHOP.CA site, Aeroplan Members can earn Aeroplan Miles on every purchase they make with 1 Aeroplan Mile for every $1 spent. Distinction members will earn 2 Aeroplan Miles for every $1 spent on all purchases made at SHOP.CA. Plus, until September 14th, 2014 Aeroplan Members will earn 10 Aeroplan Miles for every $1 dollar spent (excluding taxes) and Distinction members will earn 11 Aeroplan Miles for every $1 spent (excluding taxes) on their first purchase at SHOP.CA.
