Cat declares supermarket self-service checkout as new home

Pumpkin, a cat that had already been banned once for lounging around the entrance of a British supermarket has now stepped up and declared a self-serve checkout bagging area as his new home.

The ginger feline was spotted lounging on the bagging area of a Tesco store in Norwich, U.K., according to a BBC report.

The supermarket said it's encouraging Pumpkin to relocate outdoors to the usual front door spot but acknowledged it's literally not possible to ban a cat from the store.
