Convenience retailer Circle K is teaming up with marijuana company Green Thumb Industries to sell cannabis at Circle K stores in Florida in 2023.

Green Thumb markets marijuana products under the name Rise Dispensaries and sales will take place in 10 locations, according to a report at The Hill. The in-store operation will be called Rise Express.

"The opening of Rise Express stores at Circle K locations is a game-changer," Green Thumb Chairman and CEO Ben Kovler said in a statement. "Convenience is a strong channel in retail, and people want more access to cannabis."

The products will include flowers, pre-rolls, gummies and vapes.

The news comes a year after Circle K, which has more than 700 bitcoin ATMs in 30 states, signed an exclusive international partnership with Bitcoin Depot, a bitcoin ATM network.
