Coca-Cola taps sales VP for retail marketing role

There's a bit of a leadership shuffle taking place within Coca-Cola as the company is naming a new retail marketing head.

Diane Wallace is now vice president of ,retail marketing, North America, after serving as vice president and general manager of sales and marketing for the Walgreen business unit at Coca-Cola. Prior to that five-year stint she served as vice president of shopper marketing for three years.

In her new role she will oversee retail strategy, customer marketing, customer/trade communications and be responsible for disciplines including category strategic advisory and strategic selling capabilities, according to CSP Daily News.

Wallace's new role was formerly held by Stuart Kronauge. He is now senior vice president of Brand USA operations.
