Consumers are big in love with convenience retailers

The top growing retail vertical is the convenience store, with in-store sales jumping 6 percent in 2015.

The industry is now recording $600 billion in sales each year, according to BizReport, citing a new Koupon report. The research reveals consumers are hungry for packaged goods with the average shopper spending at $6.52 a trip.
