Costco to open long awaited new location

It's taken nearly three years, but Costco is celebrating the opening of a new location on Long Island, New York.

Work on the new 148,000-square-foot wholesale club in Oceanside began in 2014, according to a Newsday report, and the grand opening will take place August 23. It is the wholesaler's eighth store on Long Island.
