Costo hires on Kroger finance leader

Costco has named Gary Millerchip as its top finance officer, replacing CFO Richard Galanti. Millership had served in the same role for Kroger.

Galanti, who had served in his Costco role for over three decades, will stay in an advisory role through 2024, according to a Reuters report.

The news comes on the heels of Costco CEO Ron Vachris starting in his role at the start of this year.
