VeriFone Systems announced today at the NRF Conference & EXPO that Deckers Outdoor Corporation has implemented VeriFone mobile retailing hardware and software to fulfill its omni-channel initiative at 40 UGG Australia brand store locations. The solution enables store associates to accept payments from the sales floor and sell out-of-stock products available online through its integration with an e-commerce platform from Demandware.
According to the companies, the VeriFone GlobalBay Retailing solution is providing Deckers with the ability to bring the power of omni-channel to the aisle, enabling sales associates to better engage consumers, fulfill their requirements and complete transactions with full end-to-end credit card security.
