As part of its expansion plans for this year and next, Dollar General plans to hire 10,000 workers.
The retailer expects to open 900 new stores this year and 1,000 stores next year, according to The Tennessean.
"Dollar General remains focused on our strategy to invest in our employees as a competitive advantage," CEO Todd Vasos said in a statement, according to the news report.
