A pair of former teachers have opened GenuWine Arizona in Phoenix, a self-serve wine bar that highlights Arizona wines, according to an abc15.com report. The store features a glass enclosed case featuring 24 wine bottles that a guest can serve themselves.

The cashier provides the guest with an empty glass and a card that the guest inserts into the machine to select their choice of wine from the glass enclosed case. The guest then presses a button on a panel to pour the wine from the selected bottle into the glass.

After consuming the beverage, the guest returns their card to the cashier.

The partners decided to open the wine bar with a self-serve machine after encountering similar technology on a trip to France.
