Facebook topped Business Insider's 2015 list of the best companies to work for in America

Facebook topped Business Insider's 2015 list of the best companies to work for in America. It based the rankings on data collected by PayScale from U.S. employees, who work at companies on the 2014 Fortune 500 list.
To calculate scores for the companies, PayScale used six criteria: high job satisfaction, low job stress, ability to telecommute, high job meaning, experienced median pay/total cash compensation and salary delta.
Facebook earned the top because it not only has tons of great perks, including free food and a youthful office environment, but employees earn a generous median salary of $135,000 after five years and reported a 93 percent high job satisfaction rate.
The Menlo Park, California, company that employs about 9,200 employees is also one of the companies that workers seek most oftenwhen applying for a jobs, according to Business Insider.
