FedEx will stop delivery in some rural U.S. areas on Sundays starting Aug. 15 in an effort to boost efficiency of its ground delivery services.
The move is all about optimizing delivery, according to a Reuters report. Sunday delivery had begun shortly after e-commerce boomed in 2020 due to the pandemic.
The statement did not state which delivery markets are impacted by the Sunday delivery change.
