Footwear retailer V.I.M. using MarketLive to power e-commerce site

MarketLive Inc., a provider of e-commerce software and solutions, is helping V.I.M., an East Coast urban retailer of jeans, sneakers, apparel, and accessories, launch and power its first online retail site. V.I.M., owned by Famous Horse Inc., has 32 stores throughout the East Coast.

The V.I.M. e-commerce site is expected to launch in spring 2012 and will run on the MarketLive Intelligent Commerce platform, ensuring superior performance, reliability and flexibility, Corey Schuchman, director of e-commerce for V.I.M. Stores, said in a company press release.

"The challenge was finding an all-in-one solution that included among other things, design, customer care, order management and tech resources, but was also quick to market. It wasn't an option for us to plug in 20 different pieces to get our solution," Schuchman said. "After a long evaluation process, we felt most comfortable with MarketLive's team and technology."
