Former Target CEO takes Radio Shack helm

RadioShack has a new CEO, its third leader in the first half of this year.

Dene Rogers, who previously served as CEO of Sears Canada and for Target Australia, is replacing interim CEO and CFO Gordon Briscoe. Briscoe stepped into the role in January after CEO Ron Garriques left, according to a Chain Store Age report.

RadioShack, bought by Standard General LP last year following a bankruptcy action, is focused on developing its omnichannel strategy for the long term, stated the report.
